WE GOT IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally after one more week waiting because of some custom troubles we got it, we received the container with all our stuff. It was not without challenges...The truck driver stayed with his truck on the road because the turn into the property was too narrow. This was about 300 feet from our house. We had to convince him that he could do it with our help. So he did it, he hit the fence twice but he did it.
We were nervous to see if everything was at the same place as it was when we closed the container in Mountain View. And we can tell you guys, you did a great job. Everything was fine. Thanks again ! If anybody wants a recommandation on Linkedin.... let us know.
After this we successfully achived Christine and me had to unload all the boxes (110) and our furniture out of the truck...Fortunetly, we got the help from our landlord and his family. And guess what, we uncharged the container in an hour ;-). The diver was happy to leave early but he had once again to pass the narrow drive way. This time he did it without hitting the fence.
After two days unpacking and assembling furniture we found only one broken piece. Even the hugh mirrow, with fell down next to the truck in Mountain View was ok.

ENDLICH!!!

Dies was allerdings nicht ganz ohne Herrausforderungen.

Kompliment an all unsere Freunde.

  1. Congratulations on having all your "stuff" back again. Life can be normal now! Is the farm you live at a working commercial organic farm? Are you able to buy food from it? How convenient that would be. Will you have your dogs back since you are in the country?

  2. Hi,
yes the farm is a working commercial farm and we can buy stuff there.
We will not take the dogs back. Roxane is now too old (almost 14) and Toscane is feeling very well in her new family: we are like stranger for her...
But we will have new dog(s).
My brother Raphael has a daughter from Roxane (sister from Toscane and she should have babies in summer so we will have one of those. Julie would like to have also a cat and a bird... we'll see!!!
    Bise.
