Julie and Henri had their big day today. At 8 AM School started. Henri is in 4th grade "4d" and Julie in 2nd grade "2b". Both had a good time. Henri was writing and reading in english for his classmades and was very proud to do it. Julie has all girls as friend already. So no worries for integration. The good part for them was also that school was finish at noon.
During this time we found the house. It is in Bornheim on a Bio-Farm. No animals besides dogs and cats but vegetables. The house has 3 bedrooms and two bath and is in a not so nice condition. We will use the next two weeks to change the wall paint and install the kitchen. Can you believe? Houses come here without kitchen... We will post some pictures tomorrow.
Julie und Henri hatten heute ihren ersten Schultag. Wir mussten um 8 Uhr in der Schule in Bornheim sein. Das war sehr früh. Henri ist in der 4d und Julie in der 2b. Henri hat schon gleich seiner Klasse etwas auf englisch geschrieben und vorgelesen und Julie hat alle Mädchen ihrer Klasse als Freundinnen.
Während die beiden in der Schule waren, haben wir uns für ein Haus entschlossen. Es ist in Bornheim Uedorf und gehört zu einem Bio-Hof. Keine Tiere bis auf Hund und Katze, sondern Gemüseanbau. Das Haus ist gross genug, benötigt aber noch etwas Arbeit bevor wir einziehen können. ... Morgen werden wir ein paar Fotos hier reinstellen.

Premier jour d'ecole pour les enfants. Aucun souci, ils sont desormais des professionnels de l'integration.
Nous avons trouve une maison ou nous installer. 3 chambres, cuisine et sejour et 2 salles de bain.
Juste a cote d'une ferme bio prduisant des legumes...
Un peu de renovation a faire avant d'y entrer le 1er fevrier en esperant que nos affaires arrivent a temps (arrivee prevu au port de Bremerhaven le 28).
